Documentary Production

A few months after relocating to San Luis Obispo in 2022, I networked with the co-founder of sampl. wine subscription. We came up with the idea to create a documentary to highlight local foods to pair with the local wines featured in the subscription capsules. My previous professional work experience managing logistics, networking, and knowledge of quality food aligned with the skills needed to execute my role as the film Producer. With a low budget; I was able to design and pitch the project so all participants benefited from participating in the film. It was a fun project with a a successful outcome.

Life as a Canvas Maker.

Following Opportunity.

It all began when I was kicking around the Virgin Islands waiting for a flight back to the States, that I met 76 year old Manfred Dittrich and he invited me to live at his sail loft and learn the trade. He was an infamous sail maker living and working on Hassel Island, a small island off of St. Thomas for 50 years. I could write a novel about my summer spent as Manfred’s apprentice. I fell in love with industrial sewing and soon after moved to Port Townsend to pursue Canvas Making.

And then there was…

Mid-march 2020, in a small mountain town in California, the new Raging Creek was born.
